native language information for migrants
The meetings take place at migrants associations and parent cafés at schools in Kalrsruhe. Therefore the MIUMI meetings are as guests at established institutions, where time, place, atmosphere and language are familiar. For different language groups, mainly for Turkish groups, we translate and discuss short presentations in a relaxed atmosphere.
MUIMI offers: short lectures by doctors, teachers, social workers with mother-tongue translation and detailed, translated discussion during meetings of migrant associations, such as the Turkish Women's Association, and at parent cafes at schools in Karlsruhe.
MUIMI discusses:
Questions of mental and physical health,
prevention of diseases,
of child education,
and MUIMI asks: Who am I and how do I feel here as a migrant ?
